Anastasia Beverly Hills Matte Lipstick PLUMERIA Review

Anastasia’s matte lipstick collection is stunning, featuring lots of vibrant shades to choose from, along with bold, bright, colorful and classic colors. They offer 30 shades and there is really a shade for everyone and every occasion.  “Plumeria” is a cool toned color. It is a true plum wine color, that looks gorgeous on fair to medium skin tones. Pigmentation is superb, opaque finish in 2 swipes!!!

This plum shade would look flattering with warm undertones too. The shade is perfect for a special night out,  however, quite dark for everyday office use.

About the product-

A full pigment lip color with a velvety, ultra-matte formula that wears comfortably on the lips.

Price- $18

Packaging– This lipstick comes housed in a glamorous black tube with a rose gold rim. The brand logo is engraved in rose gold on the cap and tube which looks classy. There is also an outer box with product details, but since I got a mini lipstick, I didn’t get that. The bottom mentions the name of the shade.

Texture- The texture of this lipstick is semi-creamy and glides very smoothly. The pigmentation of ABH Matte Lipstick Plumeria is amazing and it does offer good opacity covering any lip pigmentation when swiped twice. The lipstick doesn’t seem patchy and settles to a true powdery matte finish.  Even though the application is a bit dry, it doesn’t actually feel drying on the lips during the day. It generally feels comfortable on the lips, unlike liquid matte lipsticks.

Wear Time: The lipstick lasts for a good 5 to 6 hours on the lips and they do fade off evenly and also leave a bit of a stain on the lips. These lipsticks aren’t completely transfer-proof which isn’t a concern for me, but they do come close. You might find a bit of transfer on your wine glass, but nothing too drastic, which is great.

Overall, there is no downside to this product. I love the shade and the texture.

MVR Rating- 10/10
